North Eastern IA is an organisation which aims to help people who have had or are about to have their colon removed, to return to a fully active and normal life.

We have been running for over 50 years and cover a large area that spans from Teesside to the Borders and across to Cumbria. We provide a regular source of information and support for both ileostomy and internal pouch patients and their families.

We hold two members’ meetings a year at the Brunswick Methodist Church, Brunswick Place, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 7BJ.
